Greetings CITE Texas Family and Friends,

 

It is my privilege and honor to serve as your President and I welcome you to our website. CITE is a recognized African American employee resource group of Verizon providing advocacy, issues awareness and professional development.

 

2009 is in full swing and we are making history.  We are privileged to witness the first African-American President and should be proud to have played such a major part in his success.  His path to the Presidency is a testiment to the fact that anything is possible with hard work, dedication and unwavering faith in our own abilities.

 

As I enter my second term as your President, I am excited about extending the legacy of CITE Texas.  My commitment to you is to offer programs and events that enhance your professional and personal development and growth. My challenge to you is that you take advantage of these programs by becoming an active participant in the good things this organization has to offer.  If you are already a member, consider volunteering to work on one of our annual programs or at the national conference. If you are not a member, I invite you to join and become part of a dedicated group of people committed to bettering themselves and serving others. CITE Texas is only as good as its members and that includes you.
